Pour cider into a large pot along with orange juice, lemon juice, vanilla, sugar and spices. Bring to a boil. Should be ready about the time the cinnamon sticks open up but it can be boiled longer if you wish to do so. Slice some apple thin with a mandolin if you have one and drop a few slices in each jar. Add the alcohol to the pot very last and distribute the cider between the jars making sure to include the cinnamon sticks.
